Hey there!Last night, i watched a movie starring Tom Hanks. This movie must have been released some 10 years ago.The movie is about a guy who survives plane crash.He is an employee of FEDEX.He is the lone survivor and he got screwed up in a virgin island along the pacific coast.He managed to live in that island for four bloody years by hunting lobsters and drinking coconut water.The scene where he made the fire himself from the scratch is a awe-inspiring moment in the movie.The only companion he has is Wilson(FOOT BALL).He found Wilson in the package which was about to be delivered to some one.In one scene,he virtually plucked his canine tooth using a iron rod when he found the aching unbearable.He fainted for some time after that harsh dental work and the next day he figures out a plan to get out of that freakin' island.He tried to build a boat and it took him nearly 3 months to collect the resources and execute the plan.He was all set to go.He found himself in an disastrous situation as the front portion of the so-called boat got clipped as he sailed quite a distance from the island.He was not able to save Wilson as the sea water current is too high.The next day he signals a container ship by hearing the sound of the siren.
After reaching his home town, he was shocked to see his girl friend married to a another man.He found pity of himself when he touches fried crab and boiled lobsters in a dinner party arranged by his friend.He delivered the parcel that he possessed for 4 years and wrote a note which says:
"This package saved my life.Thank you"
The Climax is also a fitting one where he stranded in the midst of a road on his way to home which leads to four different routes symbolizing the fact that he is in the cross roads of life..
